FANZI
FANZI is a gallery and creative platform that redefines the intersection of art and design, turning everyday objects into works of art. From sculptural furniture to architecture in remote landscapes, FANZI explores how beauty moves through function, and how light shapes daily rituals. Each year, it partners with creators worldwide to bring design into life—quietly, poetically, with presence. For 3daysofdesign, FANZI collaborates with six designers—Marie-Louise Høstbo, Shun-Hsiung Hung, Yen-An Chen, Ting-Hsuan Chang, Coby Huang, and Chialing Chang—to showcase functional artworks that intertwine utility, cultural heritage, and material aesthetics. These objects reflect light, memory, and material—inviting the viewer to pause, feel, and flow.
Optical Flow: Objects and Perception in Light. In light, objects flicker, shift, and come alive—not fixed, but always becoming. Curated by FANZI, this exhibition features six Taiwanese designers exploring the space between function and perception. Through lighting and functional objects, each work carries traces of material, memory, and culture. Light is the quiet protagonist—reflected, refracted, or hidden—connecting space, object, and body in subtle motion. With moments of tea, movement, and conversation, the exhibition invites a sensory experience where seeing flows into feeling. Optical Flow is not just a display, but a meditation on how we perceive—through light, through presence.
